Mulled Wine Cupcakes

Tis' the season to be jolly and there's no better way to load up on some Christmas cheer! 

 

The lovely Sienna Tse whipped up with some mouth-watering, mind-blowing cocoa cupcakes, which she topped with Kooky gently dried dragon fruit! We love how she got creative and added a festive twist by using mulled wine and cinnamon for that hint of spice 🎄 

 

The recipe is easy to follow and promises to be a hit with everyone!

 

For Cupcakes:
75g unsalted butter (softened)
100g sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp mulled wine syrup
150ml sour cream
15g cocoa powder
175g cake flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp natural red food colouring

 

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 145C
2. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy
3. Add egg and beat again
4. Add in red food colouring, sour cream and mulled wine syrup
5. Sieve in dry ingredients
6. Bake for 22 mins
7. Finally, frost with cream cheese and decorate with Kooky dried dragon fruit
